needle holder

The insulated wire that conducts current from the electrolysis epilator, continuing through an insulated, rigid, pencil-like terminating portion (needle holder body) containing the electrolysis needle.  In typical single-needle electrolysis treatment, the needle holder body is the hand-held device that the electrologist uses to guide the needle into the hair follicle.
